Our Compensation

How We Charge

Each client is unique, and, as a result, we are able to put together an appropriate, affordable fee structure to help meet individual needs.

We feel that it is critical for our clients to understand what they are paying for and how they are paying for it. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible when discussing the compensation for our advice.

M.J. Baker Financial Advisors is generally compensated for our services in one of two ways:

     1. Asset Management fees
     2. Wealth Management fees

Asset Management Fees
This method of compensation is widely used throughout the securities industry. An asset management fee is the preferred method of payment for clients because it is based on the assets managed and not on commissions or transactions. What Separates us from our competitor is that we bundle all services under one asset management fees. We will provide an Asset Management Fee Schedule at our initial meeting.

Wealth Management Fees
We also work with clients to create comprehensive and modular financial plans. It is from these plans that we form the long-term strategies to help our clients accomplish their financial goals. We will provide a Wealth Management Fee Schedule at our initial meeting.
